Heavy Industrial Maintenance Technician
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a manufacturer in the metal industry who is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits, working 12 hour shifts, swing shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing and facility equipment
- Technician will install and perform maintenance on furnaces, oxidizers, mixers, blenders, etc.
- Technician will troubleshoot PLCs
- Technician will perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment
- Technician will operate machining equipment, fabricate ,and weld parts for repair
- Technician will troubleshoot up to 480V, 3 phase electrical systems, DC motors and controls
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 7+ years maintenance background in a heavy industrial production environment or an Associates degree in Industrial Systems and 3 years Maintenance background
- Candidates must have knowledge of MSDS, Confined Space, LOTO
- Candidates must be comfortable being exposed to extreme heat, and at times fumes and airborne particles
- Candidates must have knowledge troubleshooting PLCs
- Candidates must be familiar with cooling towers, HVAC units, air compressors, motor control systems, etc.
- Candidates must have knowledge of the National Electrical Code
