GMP Cleaning Technician/Lab Assistant
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a biopharmaceutical company in the Cary area who is looking for a GMP Cleaning Technician/Lab Assistant to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, offering excellent benefits. The GMP Cleaning Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance within the Laboratory facility. This position is responsible for executing Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in cleaning and sanitizing processes to support the storing of pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning and sanitization activities in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines.
- Clean and disinfect freezer equipment and laboratory environments to maintain a controlled environment.
- Monitor and document cleaning activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks based on laboratory needs.
- Identify and report any deviations or issues related to cleaning processes and equipment to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels.
- Participate in training programs to stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in GMP cleaning within a biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with laboratory standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and compliance.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent documentation skills, attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work during regular business hours, Monday-Friday.
