Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a fast-growing, pharmaceutical CDMO who is hiring for a Oral Solid Dosage Formulation Scientist. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Develops solids formulations of oral capsules, immediate or modified release tablets
- Defines the qualitative and quantitative formulation composition by creating formulation development plans and executing well-designed experiments.
- Prepares formulations for testing and characterization, methods development and technology transfer.
- Identifies and investigates key quality attributes to confirm formulation robustness by conducting DOE studies
Requirements:
- BS Degree in a Scientific field combined with a minimum of 8 years industry experience OR MS Degree in a Scientific field with at least 6 years of industry experience
- Clear knowledge and understanding of the following:
- Solubility and stability theory and practice
- Material properties and attributes on solid dosage forms quality and performance
- Raw material selection strategy and criteria for solid dosage forms
- Quality attributes and regulatory requirements for solid dosage forms
- Methods for both the characterization and testing of solid dosage forms
- Hands-on experience and expertise in essential unit operations for solid dosage form manufacture
- Experience in the operations of instrumentation and methods for tablet and capsule preparation
