Formulations Lab Tech
Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an innovative biotechnology company who is hiring for a Formulations Lab Tech to join their chemistry department. This is a long-term contract with potential for hire. This ideal candidate for this position would have experience formulating new product in an agricultural industry setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform standardized chemical and physical stability tests of candidate formulations.
- Support product development and lifecycle management by carrying out formulations research.
- Execute sample prepping and shipping for seasonal field trials.
- Develop SOPs, work instructions and lab instrumentation guidelines.
- Work with cross-functional teams in efforts to achieve company wide goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry combined with experience carrying out wet chemistry techniques is required.
- Demonstrated ability to make different formulation types such as; emulsions, wettable powders and suspensions is required.
- Familiarity with the agricultural industry is highly preferred.
- Attention to detail and demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suites.
