Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established company in the Cary area who is hiring for a Food Service Associate to work in their cafeteria. This is a 1st shift, 6 month, contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Food prep to include cutting and chopping salads, preparing veggie and cheese trays, measuring ingredients, etc.
- Work in deli/grill area operating deli slicer, fryers, steamers, etc.
- Follow proper food storage practices
- Assist with line service
Requirements:
- Must have 2 years previous food service experience, cafeteria experience a plus
- Must be familiar with performing basic food prep as well as strong knowledge of food storage practices
- Previous experience operating deli slicers, grills, fryers, braising pans, steamers, etc. required
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
