Accentuate Staffing is seeking Financial Compliance Manager with one our clients based in Raleigh, NC. The Financial Compliance Manager will interact with both field and corporate personnel is researching, preparing, and auditing financial data for the organization.  We are seeking strong motivated candidates who want to make in impact and continue to grow in their career.  This role will be onsite 4 days with 1 remote workday per week, excellent benefits, pension, and state of the art office building.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, collaborate, evaluate and document key financial reporting and internal control issues, including the adoption of new accounting standards, accounting for acquisitions, internal controls and other material transactions that have significant judgment and/or interpretation of accounting guidance
  • Assist in preparing the following documents for accuracy, consistency and completeness:  quarterly and annual financial statements, notes and MD&A; earnings releases and related materials; and other SEC filings
  • Assist with due diligence and the purchase price allocation of an acquisition via validation procedures or communications with third-party valuation specialists; assist with the integration of acquired businesses
  • Evaluate internal audit reports for district and field operations and champion process improvements in response to findings
  • Provide divisional- and district-level training on technical accounting topics as needed
  • Interact with internal and external auditors on audit issues, as needed, and ensure all internal and external audit findings are properly remediated
  • Serve as liaison between corporate compliance/reporting and district/division personnel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • 5 to 7 years of experience that includes technical financial reporting, internal control compliance and acquisitions
  • Business acumen and superior attention to detail
