Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading machine shop specializing in custom equipment, who is seeking a skilled and versatile Field Service Mechanic to join their growing team in Durham, NC. This is a direct hire opportunity working Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installations, service, and repairs on custom equipment for pharmaceutical clients.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct field and in-house fabrication and mechanical assembly as needed.
- Assist in the shop during downtime, contributing to various mechanical assembly, fabrication, and machining projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Field Service Mechanic or similar role, preferably in a machine shop or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Experience in fabrication and assembly.
- A clean driving record is required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
