Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer who is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a contract to hire position working weekends Friday to Sunday 6am-6:30pm or 2nd shift 4pm-2:30am with potential overtime hours.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility-related issues to quickly restore operations.
- Maintain and service critical systems including water purification, steam generation, HVAC, compressed air, boilers, and chillers.
- Respond to emergency repairs and participate in on-call rotations as required.
- Support system installations, upgrades, and validations in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire protection, alarm, and security systems.
- Assist with general facility upkeep including lighting, minor repairs, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, and utility equipment.
- Experience with water purification, steam, compressed air, and boiler systems preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts.
