Accentuate staffing is assisting a leading laboratory equipment manufacturer in the Creedmoor/Butner area who is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a contract-hire opportunity working 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance Technician will conduct routine maintenance tasks such as electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and general building repairs.
  2. Technician will respond promptly to maintenance requests from employees or management and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  3. Technician will inspect and maintain building exteriors, including sidewalks, parking lots, etc.
  4. Technician will monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  5. Technician will keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
  6. Technician will collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues.

Requirements:

  1. Candidates must have proven experience in facilities maintenance or construction
  2. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems.
  3. Candidates must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
  4. Candidates must have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  5. Candidates must have the ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
  6. Candidates must have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and vendors.
  7. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  8. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
