Accentuate staffing is assisting a leading laboratory equipment manufacturer in the Creedmoor/Butner area who is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a contract-hire opportunity working 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Technician will conduct routine maintenance tasks such as electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and general building repairs.
- Technician will respond promptly to maintenance requests from employees or management and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Technician will inspect and maintain building exteriors, including sidewalks, parking lots, etc.
- Technician will monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Technician will keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Technician will collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have proven experience in facilities maintenance or construction
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems.
- Candidates must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
- Candidates must have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Candidates must have the ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Candidates must have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and vendors.
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
