Fabrication Supervisor
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading custom signage manufacturer, who is seeking a hands‑on Fabrication Supervisor join their team. This role is ideal for someone with strong fabrication expertise, a knack for problem‑solving, and the ability to guide a team in a fast‑paced, custom‑build operation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily workflow and production priorities for a team of 6 fabrication employees.
- Maintain quality standards, ensuring all signage meets accuracy, craftsmanship, and safety expectations.
- Coordinate with design, CNC, and other production teams to ensure smooth hand‑offs and efficient fabrication processes.
- Monitor equipment performance, arrange repairs or preventative maintenance, and uphold safe work practices.
- Track job timelines, resource needs, and material usage while identifying opportunities to increase efficiency.
- Lead by example—supporting problem‑solving, coaching team members, and reinforcing a strong work ethic.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes; sign industry experience is helpful but not required.
- Experience in custom fabrication environments (not mass‑production settings).
- Proficiency with MIG/TIG welding; exposure to CNC or printing machinery is a plus.
- Ability to manage, train, and motivate a small team while maintaining production deadlines.
- Comfortable working a four‑day, 10‑hour shift schedule in a non‑climate‑controlled shop.
- Will be required to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
