Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading commercial appliance manufacturing company who is looking for an Fabrication Manager to manage fabrication department operations. This position is a Direct Hire opportunity working 1st shift Monday-Friday with some overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Manager will participate in strategic planning to include implementation of production, quality, and customer service standard
- Manager will schedule production for optimal workflow
- Manager will analyze current policies and procedures and lead process improvement efforts
- Manager will work with upper management on customer problem resolution
- Manager will conduct performance reviews, on the job trainer, and hiring practices
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in business management or 10+ years fabrication manufacturing management background
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with customers and vendors on a daily basis
- Candidates must be computer savvy. Experience with an ERP system is a plus.
- Candidates must have a solid understanding of lean manufacturing and other process improvement methodologies
- Must be to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
