Accentuate Staffing is working with a construction supply distributor in the Creedmoor area who is hiring for a Fabrication Assistant to assist with manufacturing industrial materials. This is a 1st shift, contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Candidates will feed rebar into machinery.
- Candidates will perform quality checks prior to packaging.
- Candidate will use forklift and overhead crane to move materials.
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing/machine operation experience required.
- Previous forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
- Must have strong attention to detail, punctuality and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and with repetitive lifting of 50+ lbs.
- Must have high school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Must be comfortable working in a non-climate controlled, dirty environment.
- Fluency in Spanish a plus
- Candidate will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
