Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading medical device manufacturing company in Morrisville, NC with their need for an Export Coordinator. This is a contract to hire opportunity with a fast growing company!
Responsibilities:
- Provides export documentation (commercial invoices, certificates of origin, certificates of analysis, sterilization certificates, shipper’s letters of instruction, shipper’s export declarations, packing lists, etc.) in compliance with applicable United States export regulations and destination customs requirements, business guidelines, policies and procedures to customers.
- Coordinates with Finance any banking documentation for letter of credit shipments (commercial invoices, drafts, etc.) as well as document acceptance with customer, forwarder, bank and other parties, as needed.
- Coordinates shipments for international air and ocean via freight forwarders with the Distribution Centers. Accuracy and clarity of communication are required to ensure timely delivery of shipments to customers as well as detailed instructions.
- Enters, reviews, confirms, releases, and closes orders for shipment to include any consolidation of orders, changes or any other order related function.
- Responds to customers, sales representatives and end users regarding inquiries, orders, order changes, shipments, credits, debits, repairs and returns. Prepares and provides weekly order reports to customers and sales. Takes appropriate action to meet customer requirements within the guidelines of Company policies and procedures.
- Provides main point of contact for international customers with the Company while interacting with Medical Affairs on any Technical Complaint issues. Coordinates with Marketing Managers, Sales and other personnel as needed, to ensure resolution on technical issues from customer inquiries. Provides responses as well as resolution to customers in a timely manner by following up with appropriate Company personnel.
- Maintains and implements on-going knowledge of marketing/sales programs. Provides support to Regional Sales Managers in carrying out sales and promotional activities.
Requirements:
- High School diploma; prefer additional post-secondary education in business, marketing or export compliance. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
- One to three years Customer Service experience, preferably in international distribution.
- Must be bi-lingual – Spanish required.
- Requires the ability to respond to customer inquiries in a calm, professional and courteous manner through oral and written communications while acting in the best interests of the Company.
- Must be able to interact effectively with others inside and outside of the organization as needed including those in diverse cultures and with diverse business practices.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- SAP experience preferred.
