Accentuate Staffing is assisting a manufacturer in the Clayton area who is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working 6pm-6am Wednesday-Saturday.
Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance Mechanic will troubleshoot mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production and facility equipment
- Mechanic will maintain conveyor systems in an automated environment
- Mechanic will weld and fabricate replacement parts as needed
- Mechanic will diagnose and repair production equipment or system failures
- Mechanic will troubleshoot boilers, air compressors, hvac systems, mixing equipment, packaging equipment
- Mechanic will troubleshoot PLCs
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 2-4 plus years Maintenance background in a manufacturing processing facility
- Candidates must have knowledge of OSHA, cGMP, food safety standards
- Candidates with experience maintaining Boilers, Air Compressors, HVAC systems, Mixing equipment a plus
- Metal fabrication and welding experience a plus
- Candidates with food/beverage manufacturing background preferred
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; Technical training preferred
