Accentuate Staffing is recruiting an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator for a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company in Durham, NC. This is a Direct Hire opportunity working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- EHS Coordinator will enforce company health and safety policies and programs
- Coordinator will inspect workspaces and processes to ensure they are up to standards
- Coordinator will develop and provide safety training
- Coordinator will manage hazardous waste generator program
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
- Candidates must have 3+ years health and safety background
- Candidates must have an understanding or training in OSHA
- Candidates must have understanding and experience with RCRA and DOT regulations for accumulation and disposal of hazardous waste; RCTA/DOT Certification a plus
