Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing health and life sciences company in RTP, NC who is seeking and Engineering Change Leader to join their organization. This is a Direct Hire opportunity and a leadership role that is critical to the strategic growth of the company!

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing and implementing Engineering Change Orders.
  • Responsible for the interface between engineering, manufacturing, and service to ensure appropriate changes are documented.
  • Provide PLM and process architecture, implementation and training to Engineers, Materials, Services and Mfg.
  • Ensure the accuracy of engineering change order (ECO) submissions to minimize processing time between submission and implementation
  • Responsible for tracking ECOs from receipt to closure and consult with Engineering or other resources to address release issues.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and document the scope of product releases
  • Define BOM Structure, part numbering, and assembly numbering schemes based on project needs with input from Engineering and Operations stakeholders
  • Create, import, and release product data packages (specifications and BOMs)
  • Track Engineering Changes through the review and release cycle, ensuring timely sign-off
  • Monitor interfaces to CM and Third-part tools and resolve issues as required
  • Reports on schedule and issues at weekly Project team and Functional (Ops/NPI) team meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Engineering Document Control or a similar role in manufacturing operations or engineering
  • Direct experience working with both engineering and Contract Manufacturers
  • Expert level with indented BOM structures and structured part numbering systems
  • Hands-on experience with Product Data Management software such as Arena PLM
  • Strong attention to detail, able to review the input of others and perform effective self-review
  • Highly motivated with a strong drive for results and ability to hold people accountable for project commitments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high performing, multifunctional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work with technical resources on feasibility, timing, and risk/contingency plans.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, transparently, concisely, and on a timely basis with business leaders, project teams, and external partners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships across all functions and business units.
