Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established apparel and life style accessories manufacturer in the Apex area who is hiring for an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join their team. These are 1st shift, temp to hire opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate embroidery machines to embroider designs on various materials, including garments, hats, bags, and other accessories.
  • Set up machines with the appropriate thread colors, needles, and hoop sizes based on job requirements.
  • Load and unload materials onto embroidery machines, ensuring proper alignment and tension.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and consistency of embroidered designs.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain quality standards and optimize production efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and inconsistencies, making any necessary corrections or adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, including cleaning, oiling, and troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Keep accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, and any issues encountered during production.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete orders according to production schedules and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating industrial embroidery machines in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders, designs, and production specifications.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts as needed to meet production demands.
  • Knowledge of embroidery software and design digitization is a plus.
