
Embedded Hardware Engineer
Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a growing engineering company that is seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join its expanding design team. This organization specializes in developing innovative embedded solutions that improve environmental quality and compliance in commercial, industrial, and medical spaces. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in embedded hardware design and capable of working with digital and analog circuits, microcontrollers, and PCB layouts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing hardware solutions, creating and validating prototypes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the transition of designs to production.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design embedded hardware systems that meet program and performance requirements.
- Create and review circuit board layouts and schematics using tools such as Altium or similar design software.
- Validate prototypes through rigorous testing with engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and analyzers.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of firmware, software, and mechanical engineers to meet design objectives.
- Ensure hardware designs meet regulatory compliance standards, including FCC, UL, and CE certifications.
- Support the transition of designs into production by creating test fixtures and internal tools.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including specifications and validation records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with embedded hardware/electronics design.
- Proficiency in digital and analog circuit design, including 32-bit microcontrollers, DC-DC power supplies, and signal chain designs.
- Familiarity with Altium Designer or similar circuit design software.
- Hands-on familiarity with testing and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on unfamiliar designs.
