Accentuate Staffing is assisting a manufacturer who is looking for an Electrical Test Technician to join their team. This is a 1st shift contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical Test Technician will validate the function and performance of equipment
- Test Tech will inspect electro-mechanical equipment and assist in necessary repairs
- Test Tech will configure meters, relays and other electrical and mechanical controls
- Test Tech will work with a team to resolve corrective action items and assist to identify any area of process improvement
Requirements:
- Candidates must 3-5 years of electrical testing background
- Candidates must have experience troubleshooting control systems, busbar assemblies, and 480V transformers.
- Candidates must be able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
- Candidates must have previous experience testing and validating electrical equipment and raw materials
- Candidates must have working knowledge of National Electrical Codes, UL, and ETL
- Candidates must be computer savvy
- Candidates must be able to work independently and have good written and verbal communication skills
- Electrical degree preferred, but not required
