Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Electrical Design Engineer to join an established company in the Raleigh area.  This is a direct hire opportunity with a fantastic company!

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical engineering support for the manufacture of industrial control panels and related electrical assemblies.
  • Electrical engineering support for the Sales department, as directed by the Engineering Coordinator.
  • Electrical engineering support for the Service department, with respect to special package and sub-assembly sales, as directed by the Engineering Coordinator.
  • Creation of bills of material and electrical system schematics, as required by the above departments.
  • Creation and maintenance of standard procedures and computer programs to support electrical engineering tasks as described above.
  • Control standardization and application with CADD file blocks, material templates, and quality control procedures relating to standard assemblies.
  • Design and application of non-standard electrical assemblies.
  • Electrical engineering technical support for the Service department, as directed by Technical Support personnel.
  • Electrical engineering support for the Service Department, with respect to special package and sub-assembly sales, as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Creation and maintenance of standard procedures and programs to support electrical engineering tasks as described above.
  • Creation of bills of materials for special electrical sub-assemblies.
  • Occasional electrical engineering technical support for the Service Department, as directed by Technical Support personnel.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience related to process controls and instrumentation of environmental control systems involving electromechanical and solid state control logic, PLCs, and power distribution.
  • Experience with project planning and estimating.
  • Experience in the design of ladder logic schematics, technical writing, documentation, and Quality Assurance Standards.
  • Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Access and AutoCAD and PLC programming software.
