Accentuate Staffing is looking for a director level role at a growing Manufacturer in the Raleigh area for the Customer Support/ Application Engineering Group.  This is a Direct Hire opportunity!

Responsibilities:

  • Department leader and managing 5 direct reports
  • Responsible for keeping and advancing application know how for existing and new applications
  • Responsible for proactive technology scouting for  technology in close collaboration with internal (BUZ Corporate Technology, VN management and other BAs) as well as external partners (startups, universities)
  • Responsible for successful commissioning activities at customers’ sites and reaching contractual parameters.
  • Responsible for content and organization of training seminars for customers (in house and at customers).
  • Responsible for accurate product testing to assure proper sizing of our offering.
  • Initiates timely requests for additional staff or other personnel as needed
  • Responsible for comprehensive reports upon team’s activities internally or with customers
  • Ensures closeout processes of all POs with proper allocation of costs
  • Performs other duties as assigned as member of the site’s senior leadership team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, natural science or food science. Master’s degree a plus, especially if within engineering/science field. Work experience in functions with similar responsibility/duty is a must and leadership experience is a plus.
  • Microsoft Office required (Excel specifically); Experience in data analysis/statistics/IoT a plus.

  • Oral and Written Communication – presents information, analysis, and ideas in writing in a clear and concise manner internally and externally; speaks clearly so that others can hear and understand what is being said
  • Speaks and understands English
  • Domestic and international travel up to 30% of time which may include long hours and non-traditional work schedules
