Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an established biotech company who is hiring for a Director of Analytical Chemistry. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay and benefits working onsite. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Analytical Chemistry and the demonstrated ability to lead teams in efforts to achieve company goals supporting multiple research and development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Leads analytical chemistry team in various analytical testing methods in support of multiple R&D projects.
- Maximizes team potential by managing training and development, setting goals for individual team members and motivating members through team building initiatives.
- Taking ownership of method validation, method development and routine analyses for the testing of biomaterials and small molecules.
- Collaborates with R&D team, supporting the testing and validating of different biological solutions.
Requirements:
- Master degree of PhD combined with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Background in bioprocess development and scale-up as well as a fundamental understanding of molecular biology and bacterial fermentation.
- Demonstrated management experience leading a team in various analytical testing methods to achieve established goals.
- SME in analytical laboratory techniques especially FT-IR and Chromatography.
