Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Digital Operations Specialist with one of our growing clients here in NC. If you have experience in online operations, email marketing, and have a love for books or media, this opportunity is for you. We are seeking a candidates that have a customer service mindset, strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast paced work environment. This is a remote temp to perm opportunity with advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support to independent authors and publishers via email and live chat.
- Creation of weekly deal emails for eBooks that go out to thousands of readers every week for NewInBooks, a child site of Written Word Media.
- Email creation includes editing descriptions for each book and linking to appropriate retailers. Along with weekly email creation, NewInBooks’s website and social media will be updated weekly.
- Maintain an advertising inventory system by updating available inventory, entering data for books, running ad hoc analysis, and processing payments.
- Processing payments involves reviewing promotional bookings to ensure book information is accurate and meets our editorial requirements.
- Learn how to efficiently and effectively operate the day-to-day functions of a web brand.
Requirements:
- Ability to write in a professional email tone and aspire to provide the best customer service to authors.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
- Highly efficient with a track record of getting tasks done with low error rates.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and attentive.
- Have a positive, team player attitude.
- Terrific writing and editing skills.
- Comfortable with technology and the web.
- Prior customer service experience
- WordPress and Social Media experience
- Love of books and reading
