Accentuate Staffing is hiring for a large manufacturing company in the Apex area who is looking for a Design Verification Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for assisting with the design of various fixtures used to test prototypes and products
- Ensure designs are meeting customer specifications
- Work closely with suppliers, labs, and manufacturers to produce cost effective designs
- Utilize SolidWorks to complete challenging design tasks
- Operate 3D printers as well as perform any required maintenance
Requirements:
- Associate’s in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Must have strong knowledge of mechanical design to include pneumatic devices, fastener, bearings, and locking mechanisms
- Must have experience with 3D modeling, SolidWorks a plus!
- Previous PLC Programming experience preferred
