Data Operations Engineer
Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Data Operations Engineer to join a customer in Morrisville, NC. The Data Operations Engineer will spearhead the deployment, administration, and support of cutting-edge healthcare data interoperability solutions. This role harnesses a combination of tools and languages, adhering to industry standards and best practices. Emphasis is placed on automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery to ensure seamless data integration operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and support SQL and SSIS processes for data integration.
- Craft, implement, and oversee APIs for healthcare data distribution and consumption.
- Formulate and implement unit testing plans.
- Draft technical and business documentation for data integration projects.
- Design and/or supervise monitoring solutions for data integration tasks.
- Regularly update and refine data integration projects.
- Lead ETL and data pipeline optimization, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and support.
- Contribute to setting standards for data integration project design, development, implementation, and support.
- Offer data integration aid to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle other duties as necessary.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience in a computer science related field including experience in a data integration or ETL development position or an equivalent combination of education and experience that includes developing complex data integration software applications.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Mastery in SQL programming.
- Proficient in crafting, testing, deploying, and maintaining ETL processes, ideally using SSIS and JAMS.
- Adept at developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining APIs, preferably via .NET Framework.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability tools and protocols: FHIR, HL7, CDA, and EDI.
- Experience with platforms like Apigee or MuleSoft for API management and data integration.
- Familiarity with HIEs and/or HISPs.
- Stellar communication and organization aptitudes.
- Capability to function both individually and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combo of education and experience in complex data integration software development.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, MuleSoft Certified Developer, and/or HL7 Certifications.
