Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Customer Support Rep to join a large insurance group in the Durham area. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate looking to jumpstart their career. This position is a temp to hire opening with hours M-F 11am-8pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers via phone and email with requests, withdrawals, cancellations, and explaining benefit coverages
- Manage payment processing duties as needed
- Work with customers to find resolutions of issues through phone call follow up, email, and/or fax communications
- Research client accounts to identify issues and updates to needs
- Work with multiple departments to update account needs, and communicate with customers on these changes
- Assist with training new staff members
- Process all paperwork and enter client account updates into main database system correctly
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- English/Spanish skill set strongly preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skill set
