Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Temporary Customer Service Representative to a join a client of ours for a 3–6 month assignment. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing product information, processing orders, and resolving inquiries to ensure a positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer order processing assistance in a fast-paced environment. Training for this role fully in-office. Once training is completed, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). Remote days cannot be taken consecutively between Friday and Monday.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person regarding products and services.
  • Enter and process customer orders for new or additional products.
  • Maintain accurate customer accounts and records of interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the appropriate specialist when necessary.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of customer issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Use order entry software to process and track orders and customer information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer support.

Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience in an order entry customer service role
  • Experience handling a high volume of customer calls and  orders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with order entry and customer management systems (experience with SalesPad or Great Plains is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Reliable with strong work ethic, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.
