Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Manager of Total Rewards/Corporate HR Director for a global company. This is a remote opportunity but employee must be within a one hour commute of the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area, NC area. This position is an integral part of the Corporate HR team, planning, organizing, and managing the global compensation and benefits functions. Responsible for planning and assisting with strategy development, and overall management of compensation and benefits programs supporting a market competitive total compensation strategy that drives employee engagement, retention, and a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to develop, implement and administer compensation and benefits programs that support short- and long-range business objectives
  • Manage the company’s compensation and benefits plans and programs, including base pay plans, incentive compensation plans, executive compensation plans, health and welfare plans, defined contribution plans, and payroll administration
  • Serve as mentor and coach to assigned staff
  • Implement local salary management systems to ensure compliance with Company policies.
  • Administer and coordinate salary administration programs, conduct market surveys, evaluate jobs for internal and external competitiveness, develop salary ranges and review salary recommendations to ensure equity
  • Lead the  Company’s gender pay equity initiatives
  • Coordinate the global salary review process, including making recommendations for salary pools based on local conditions and market projections
  • Coordinate equity plan administration, including generation of equity award agreements and participant communications, participant education, and vestings
  • Manage relationship with the equity plan administrator and work directly with the equity plan administrator to ensure excellent service and to gather required reporting for accounting and reconciliation reporting
  • Coordinate Section 16 reporting for name insiders, including non-employee directors, and deal directly with brokers for Section 144 reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of equity compensation disclosures in the annual report and proxy
  • Collaborate with in-house and external legal counsel on compliance issues
  • Support US payroll activities
  • Manage implementation and administration of benefit plans
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, and Payroll to ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations surrounding compensation and benefits
  • Contribute to the formulation of HR department plans, objectives, and strategies.  Prepare and submit plans and budgets for the area of responsibility.  Monitor performance against plans and take action as needed to ensure the achievement of objectives
  • Contribute to the formulation of corporate salary and benefits budgets and assist US operations with salary and benefits budgets for the annual operating plan
  • Act as a resource to international locations and management in addressing compensation and benefits issues
  • Maintain effective working relationships within and outside the organization as required to meet performance objectives
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiencies in work processes and innovative approaches for meeting goals and objectives
  • Perform special assignments as directed by the SVP HR or other members of senior management
  • Keep SVP HR informed of all pertinent matters related to job responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • 10+ years of increasingly responsible HR experience in compensation administration
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and processes for compensation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills including effective communications with senior stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Word, Outlook, HRIS systems, and reporting tools
  • Superior analytical, problem-solving, and PC skills, with advanced Excel skills and solid PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressured, ambiguous work environment, paying close attention to detail and meeting business-driven deadlines
  • Self-directed as well as a willingness and ability to roll-up sleeves and be “hands-on”
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively in a diverse environment
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, and cultivate a cohesive, high performing team
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple activities and shift priorities meeting established deadlines
