Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Content Specialist to join a professional organization located in Morrisville.
The Content Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining organization’s verbal brand, and further positioning the organization as a thought-leader within this industry. This role will provide consistent messaging and increase the visibility of organization across a variety of mediums. The Content Specialist is responsible for writing and editing copy for all online and offline marketing deliverables (web, collateral, e-newsletter, email, magazine, and others).
Responsibilities:
• Support the advancement of organizations strategic plan and initiatives in a team-oriented manner, and assist in the internal and external communication of the plan.
• Develop and manage the content management strategy for organization.
• Work with Marketing Strategist to identify the appropriate delivery channel (print, e-marketing, website, Connect, blog, social, etc.) and craft message accordingly.
• Articulate key product value by using creative and innovative messaging techniques.
• Understand audience types and be able to easily adapt voice and style accordingly.
• Manage content on the website, including Connect, to ensure relevance, accuracy, and timeliness. Monitor industry news, trends, and other relevant external content in addition to members’ posts on Connect.
• Develop original content for magazine, as well as other channels, and proof layout.
• Write, proof, and/or edit course descriptions and speaker bios for programming.
• Work alongside Graphic Designer and Marketing Strategist to bring marketing projects from initiation and concept through to completion.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or comparable field required.
• At least 3 years of professional work experience in marketing/communications or related area. Knowledge and experience in a professional association environment preferred.
• Creative visionary with a passion for content strategy with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts. Ability to work across writing media and adapt to different audiences.
• Experience managing several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and WordPress (or other CMS).
