Accentuate Staffing has partnered with an industry leading firm who is looking to fill several geotechnical engineer and construction materials technician (CMT) roles. The positions are based in Charlotte. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience as a CMT, a high school diploma or equivalent, and necessary certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing, inspections, and observations of various construction materials (soils, asphalt, steel, etc.)
- Transport all samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis
- Assist with scheduling of technicians
- Maintain a high standard of quality on all projects
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent. 2 and 4 year degrees preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience with as a CMT
- Any of the following certifications: Concrete Field Testing, Concrete Strength Testing, NICET certifications, ACI Certifications, and/or AWS certifications
- Certified in radiation safety and Nuclear Density Gauge operations
