A leading geotechnical engineering firm is looking for a Construction Materials Laboratory Technician to test various materials from around the Triangle area. This position is a temp to hire opportunity working 1st shift Monday-Friday with some overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Will be weighing and testing samples of various materials to include soils, concrete, asphalt and other aggregates
- Will be documenting results and performing various calculations
Requirements:
- Candidates must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Will be required to get various certifications while working for company
- Candidates must have a High School diploma and valid driver’s license
- Candidates must be comfortable lifting 40 lbs.
- Must be to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
