Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a family owned construction company based in the East Raleigh/Knightdale area for a Construction Manager.

Responsibilities:

  1. Works with and oversees all types of construction projects including proactive maintenance on all facilities, buildings renovations, and new construction work.
  2. Works with and oversees all necessary contractor and sub-contractors including concrete, building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and utility.
  3. Performs a variety of tasks including carpentry, painting, HVAC, electrical and plumbing work.
  4. Works and oversees all types of concrete and steel erection work.
  5. Coordinate construction material needs by delivery/pickup for all projects as well as assigned labor.
  6. Review and interpret architectural, construction and erection drawings.
  7. Work closely with superintendents and office managers to support their construction and repair needs.
  8. Operates mobile equipment for which he / she is qualified.
  9. Assists in and ultimately perform field surveying, including project stakeout and final pin locations.
  10. Develop project budgets and keep track of project costs and files.
  11. Train any personnel in proper and safe operation of their equipment.
  12. Oversee all safety, environmental, and quality control aspects of his/her area of responsibility.
  13. Properly document and organize projects files both hard copy and digital.
  14. Maintain a weekly calendar of tasks completed and at what location.
  15. Assist in evaluating, disciplining, and counseling any personnel assigned to assist you.
  16. Solve and document personnel problems in a calm and effective manner that minimizes any disruption to productive performance.
  17. Participate in management functions including on/off-site meetings, training, or development courses.
  18. Assists with company’s efforts at wildlife preservation, landscaping, and erosion control.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • General Contracting and trade experience is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a construction related field.
