Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Community Property Inspector for a successful Property Management company in Raleigh, NC. The Community Inspector is responsible for inspecting and documenting the communities as scheduled by the Community Managers to report all violations found on the property. This position will ensure all scheduled inspections are completed in a timely manner and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate property and document maintenance needs, covenant violations and contractor performance.
  • Position involves creating a monthly calendar of property visits. These visits may include walking the property to view maintenance needs, driving the property to document covenant violations, and amenity inspections to evaluate contractor performance.
  • The position will be responsible for documenting each trip to the community but reporting through the cinc ipad app or email documentation if no report is warranted. For example, a list of work orders, a list of violations or an email stating that a visit was made but no observed violations or issues was noted. Inspections should be completed fully unless otherwise specified by manager.
  • Ensure all scheduled inspections are completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate to Community Managers which communities may require additional attention in order to adjust their community calendar accordingly, per the inspector’s schedule calendar
  • Create a monthly calendar for scheduled property visits and review quarterly to move, remove, and/or add new communities or note communities that require extra attention

Requirements:

  • 1+ years’ experience in community inspection, preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience in property management
  • 1+ years’ experience in customer service
  • Candidates with an understanding of construction, property management association legal documents and aesthetic requirements preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • High quality standards and strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and positive approach, good organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attendance, punctuality, and accountability are critical
