Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing commercial furniture installation company in the Garner area recruit for Furniture Installers and Installation Leads.

These are contract to hire opportunities working from 6am or 7am to early/mid-afternoon, with overtime opportunities in the evenings and on weekends.

Furniture Installation Technician ($15-18/hr)

Responsibilities:

• Furniture Installation Technician will assist with the building and installation of commercial office furniture
• Technician will pull orders and load trucks for deliveries as well unload trucks at customer sites
• Technician will use various hand and power tools for assembly of the furniture
• Technician will follow diagrams and drawings to ensure proper installation

Requirements:

• Previous furniture installation experience a plus, but not required
• Background in moving or construction a plus
• Candidate must have strong mechanical aptitude, and be comfortable using different hand and power tools
• Candidate must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting with customers on a regular basis
• Must be comfortable lifting 70+ lbs continuously
• Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Furniture Installation Lead ($18-22/hr)

Responsibilities:

• Furniture Installation Lead will be responsible for leading a team of Installation Technicians
• Lead will assist Technicians with the assembly and installation of commercial office furniture
• Lead will follow diagrams and drawings to ensure proper installation
• Lead will inspect completed jobs to ensure company standards were met
• Lead will communicate with both clients and office staff on a regular basis

Requirements:

• Previous furniture installation experience a plus, but not required
• Candidate must have previous leadership/project management experience
• Candidate must have strong communication skills as well as personnel management skills
• Must be mechanically inclined, with the ability to use various hand and power tools
• Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
