Accentuate Staffing is assisting a client of ours in the Rockingham, NC area recruit for a Combustion Turbine Technician to join their team. This is an indefinite contract opportunity working a 12 hour, rotating, swing shift.
Responsibilities:
- Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on all plant equipment
- Technician will maintain 24vdc to 13.8kv electrical equipment, as well as mechanical systems, instrumentation, and control systems
- Technician will follow all safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- Candidate must have 5 years experience working in an industrial environment or power plant
- Candidate must have a High School Diploma/GED equivalent, Associate’s in Engineering/Industrial Technology or Military Technical School preferred
- Candidate must have experience maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical, and instrument control systems
- Candidate must be familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
- Candidate must be comfortable working a 12/hr Dupont shift
- Candidate must have valid NC Driver’s License
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug test
