Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot multi-spindle screw machines to produce precision components
• Develop and adjust tooling layouts, tooling sequences, speeds/feeds, and cycle times
• Set and adjust cams, gears, and mechanical gearing to ensure proper machine operation
• Grind and set form tools, shave tools, drills, cutoffs, and other machining tools
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues to maintain quality and production efficiency
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and resolve issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Several years of hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC or multi-spindle screw machines
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, speeds/feeds, and machine setup
• Ability to troubleshoot tooling, machining, and production issues
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Understanding of cams, gears, and mechanical gearing
• Experience grinding and setting various cutting and forming tools
• Mechanical or manufacturing engineering education is a plus
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar engineering/design software is a plus
• Acme-Gridley and/or Davenport multi-spindle screw machine experience a plus
