Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer in the Apex area who is looking for a CNC Machinist. This is a contract to hire, 1st shift position working Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Machinist will set up and operate shop equipment manufacturing prototype and production parts with close tolerances
- Machinist will operate and program CNC vertical machinery
- Machinist will perform some programming using MasterCam
- Machinist will perform final inspections using a manual CMM
- Machinist will work from blueprints and special instructions
- Machinist will produce jigs and fixtures as needed
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 5 years Machining background to include vertical machining centers
- Manual machining experience required
- Candidate must have previous programming experience, MasterCam a plus
- Candidate must be comfortable using a manual CMM
- Previous knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing a plus
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, technical degree in a related field a plus!
