CNC Lead Machinist

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a manufacturing company in the Youngsville area that is hiring a CNC Lead Machinist. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced machinist with strong CNC setup skills, particularly in milling, who can provide daily guidance to a small production team. This is a 1^st shift opportunity working 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

Set up CNC milling and turning equipment using existing programs and documented setup instructions.
Support setups on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis equipment, with a primary focus on milling.
Adjust tooling and offsets as needed to support successful setups and continued production.
Run and verify new programs prepared by the programming team; no programming required.
Provide hands-on leadership to approximately 6–7 employees, helping resolve setup issues and maintain production flow.

Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience setting up CNC milling machines; CNC turning experience also needed.
Experience with multi-axis CNC equipment and familiarity with Fanuc controls.
Ability to follow detailed setup instructions and work with existing CNC programs.
Ability to troubleshoot setup issues and make tooling and offset adjustments.
Ability to guide a small team while remaining actively involved in machining and production.
Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
