Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturing company in the RTP area who is hiring for a Grinding Operator. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift, however candidate must have flexibility to train on 2nd shift for a few weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate CNC grinding machines
- Read and follow required blueprints and drawings
- Use various measurement devices to include calipers and gages to perform quality inspections
- Perform any required maintenance on the equipment
Requirements:
- 1 year CNC grinder operating experience
- Must be proficient in interpreting blueprints as well as other engineering drawings
- Experience using calipers and precision grade gauges
- Must be comfortable converting to the metric system
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
