Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Hybrid/Remote Classification and Compensation Analyst to assist with administering the classification and compensation system for the organization, ensuring positions are evaluated appropriately and compensation practices are fair and equitable.
This position will allow the successful candidate to work a primarily remote schedule which includes one day a week coming into the office as approved by their supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Job Analysis
- Interview and survey employees and managers to gather and document job information
- Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine classification, FLSA status, and appropriate salary range
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of classification specifications
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position in the organization ensuring descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed and appropriate requirements
Maintain classification and job information in HCMS
- Setup and maintain job descriptions in HCMS
- Set up and maintain budgeted position information in the system
- Review and enter personnel actions into the system ensuring compliance with standards and regulations
Assist with maintenance of Classification/ Compensation Plan and Compensation Surveys
- Gather data from market-based compensation surveys and analyze to assess market trends and organization competitiveness
- Assist with organizational compensation studies
Conduct Analysis and make recommendations on salary offers and adjustments
- Review qualifications and salary equity to make recommendations on salary offers and adjustments
- Maintain documentation of decision making
General HR Duties-
- Maintain organizational chart with new hires, terminations, transfers and promotions.
- Assist with information gathering and reporting as needed
- Assist with HR audits as needed
- Maintain compliance standards for HR recordkeeping
- Serve as backup for Class/Comp/HRIS Manager when needed
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and managers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field from an accredited college/university and two (2) years of experience in Human Resources with a primary focus on classification and compensation, including working in an integrated HCM system.
- Experience working in Human Resources for State or Local Government in North Carolina
- Knowledge of classification and compensation practices
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Knowledge of Human Capital Management systems
- Verbal and written communication skills
