Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Chemistry Technician to work with a company in the Raleigh area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working one to two years in a laboratory with a bachelors’ degree in Chemistry.
Responsibilities:
- Providing pre-purchase technical support, clarifying technical specifications/requirements and recommending products for the application to commercial level customers
- Works closely with sales team, distributors and OEM partners as well as end customers
- Sources new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/emails
- Occasional travel including sales calls at customer’s commercial sites, attending trade shows, and traveling to Germany for training/meetings
Requirements:
- Minimum of a BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- 1-2 years of laboratory or industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills along with basic Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to interact with customers and work in a team-oriented environment
