Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Cash Applications Associate for our client in Cary, NC. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a well established company.
Responsibilities:
- Handles payment application (Checks, Wires, ACH) process in Stream, scans/deposits checks electronically in the bank.
- Prepares accounting entries for charges and credit requests.
- Sends invoices via EDI, email or Fax and handles requests for copies from customers.
- Processes credit card payments in PayTrace and Stream.
- Shares responsibility with Accounts Receivable Specialist in the management of the Credit Dashboard.
- Responds to queries from customers and other departments.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of Cash Applications and general accounting experience.
- QuickBooks Experience preferred
- Competent knowledge in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.
