A manufacturer of scientific instruments is looking for a calibration technician to join their manufacturing team in Morrisville, NC. This is a 1st shift, contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Calibration technician will build, align, and calibrate electrical, mechanical, and optical assemblies following SOPs
- Technician will support engineers and R&D in product testing and pilot runs
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience with electrical and fiber optic assembly
- Experience with basic measurement skills, using a variety of hand tools and electronic equipment
- Must have strong attention to detail, punctuality and be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience working in an FDA regulated environment a plus
- High school diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
- Candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug screen
