Accentuate Staffing is seeking a CAD Technician/Designer to join a leading civil site design firm. This is a Direct Hire opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Reports to CAD manager but works closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce civil engineering construction drawings, plan and profile drawings, roadway widening plans, landscape and lighting plans, concept sketches and other maps and illustrations for commercial development projects.
- Must be able maintain project files and follow company CADD standards.
- Must be able to generate earthworks, pre/post impervious calculations and other quantities accurately.
- Must be able to produce a preliminary sketch base drawing from GIS, deed or recorded plat from a provided address or pin number.
- Being able to produce survey drawings from data collected in the field is a plus but not required for this position.
Requirements:
- Applicants should have training in CAD, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2 – 5 years of experience in a civil-related engineering field, preferred.
- Proficiency and experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D and Adobe.
- Must be consistent and highly accurate in work output.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, if required.
