Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders and credit card purchases generated from the requisition system
• Process internal work orders for components demands generated from the Requisition system
• Prioritize Purchase Requisitions by requested need dates, and communicate delivery information to all internal customers when necessary.
• Maintain purchasing records and related documentation according to company policies and procedures
• Create and maintain excellent working relationships with internal/external suppliers and customers
• Interface closely with departmental buyers for all purchases that relate to their assigned product and commodity responsibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve receiving and invoicing discrepancies as necessary.
• Assist production buyers with processing purchase orders as work load permits.

Requirements:

• Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
• Knowledge of  MRP and  ERP systems a plus.
• Strong organizational and personal time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detailed analysis and problem solving skills
• Experience with component and proprietary drawing specifications a plus
• Bachelors Degree
• 1/3 years of related experience
• APICS (CPIM) Certification a plus
