Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well established manufacturing company in Morrisville, NC with a search for a Business Office Manager. This role oversees the Accounting and Human Resources functions of a well-established manufacturer in Morrisville. The employee will handle issues such as new hire orientation, benefits administration, file maintenance and general accounting duties as well as purchasing materials, parts and supplies for engineers. This position offers a competitive salary and 100% paid Health Insurance, 401k and generous PTO plan.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic financial management duties through QuickBooks this includes basic journal entry and invoicing
- General bookkeeping to include accounts payable and receivable and input into QuickBooks
- Oversee and manage third party resources to include PEO for all benefit and payroll related questions
- Purchasing of materials, parts and supplies for engineers and maintaining relationships with vendors
- Entering and receiving Bill of Materials and Bill of Lading
- Invoicing 6-8 times a month with some project based billing as well
- Maintaining employee files and compliance
- Other special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor Degree is preferred
- General business skills including basic accounting and budget preparation, processing invoices, and managing customer and vendor accounts
- Must be a self-starter, well-organized and detail-oriented, working effectively under minimal supervision, and as a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and QuickBooks
- Strong communication skills in-person and in written form, able to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Enjoys and thrives in being the go to person within an office
