Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Bookkeeper for one of our clients in Raleigh, NC. If you have experience in Quickbooks and enjoy administrative tasks we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Greet visitors and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person according to their needs.
  • Responsible for daily office operational/organizational duties including opening mail, filing duties, administrative and data entry tasks.
  • Weekly data entry of fabrication inventories turned in by Shop Foreman.
  • Send out buy lists to vendors to receive quotes back on shop materials. Items will then be reviewed for the best prices and purchase orders will be generated.
  • Ability to follow up on all orders and provide lead times for Shop Manager.
  • Maintain office supply inventory.
  • Some vendor, accountant, and customer relations duties. Supervise the delivery of materials.
  • Responsible for coordinating and booking travel/accommodations to trade shows and customer visits.
  • Responsible for producing MAP Quest for product deliveries.
  • Reconcile vendor, bank, and credit card statements.
  • Collections of accounts receivable. May be required to call customers to check on payments.
  • Handle personal banking and bill pay for President.
  • Input time sheets weekly from Employees for payroll
  • Strong knowledge of, job costing, purchase orders and invoicing, weekly payroll, payroll withholding tax reporting and payments.
  • Oversees the process of creating and maintaining personnel files. Organize and provide new-hire paperwork for new employees. Once hired, set-up new employees in Quickbooks.

  • Strong Excel formula’s a must, with basic Microsoft Office suite skills.
  • Strong Quickbooks Desktop proficiency is required including payroll.
  • Ability to do a CPA firm and do on their own moving forward.
  • A minimum of 3 references required.
