Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a respected law firm in Raleigh, NC. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage complex litigation matters from intake through trial. The Paralegal will play a key role in driving case progress, supporting attorneys, and ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are consistently met.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-volume personal injury caseload from intake through trial, including calendaring, document preparation, discovery coordination, court filings, and client communication.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for all case activity, tracking deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial dates to ensure timely execution.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery responses, affidavits, and correspondence in compliance with state and federal court rules and eFiling requirements.
  • Oversee the collection, organization, and summarization of medical records and billing to support case strategy and damages analysis.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, experts, and vendors; provide updates and coordinate depositions, discovery, and expert witness logistics.
  • Prepare attorneys for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial by organizing case files, exhibits, and supporting materials; attend proceedings as needed.
  • Monitor case files and court dockets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness; manage service of process and support overall team efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; NC Paralegal Certification required; Notary Public (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation support, with at least 5 years demonstrated within a personal injury setting as a paralegal.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes, discovery procedures, and state/federal court filing systems.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Experience supporting complex litigation matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, or commercial disputes.
  • Proficiency with eCourts, legal research tools, and case management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to client service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
