Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an established healthcare company who is hiring for a bilingual Crisis Clinician. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive benefits while working 100% remote. The ideal candidate is clinically fluent in Spanish and English, experienced in mental health support services and making clinical triage decisions in crisis response.

Responsibilities:

  1. Primarily responsible for conducting telephonic screenings, clinical triage and referral functions for individuals seeking services.
  2. Provides crisis service authorizations for both state and Medicaid funded emergency type services.
  3. Ensures all individuals calling with service needs are safely assisted in a timely fashion with available services and community resources.
  4. Making clinical triage decisions during highly escalated calls for individuals with urgent/emergent needs based on limited information.
  5. Maintain safety of all callers, which may include contacting and mobilizing community first responders such as; EMS, CIT officers, police and mobile crisis teams.

Requirements:

  1. Master’s degree in Human Services combined with 3 years of experience (post degree) in mental health support services.
  2. Must be bilingual, clinically and conversationally fluent in both Spanish and English.
  3. One of the following certification are required and must be issued by North Carolina Professional Board: LCSW, LCMHC, LCAS, LPA, or LMFT.
  4. Ability to assess clinical level of need telephonically.
  5. Ability to provide crisis response and deescalate difficult callers.
