Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a rapidly growing medical provider in the Cary area. The Collections Specialist will be handling all phone calls and correspondence with clients regarding payment information and claim status. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails from customers regarding balance history
- Identify proper payment information and insurance benefits
- Assist with managing all documentation needed for customers regarding balances, invoices, and reporting needs
- Communicate with customers effectively and guide through the collections process
- Utilize systems to update customer information and account balance updates
- Work in a team setting to complete collections calls daily
- Complete additional projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be bilingual – read/write/speak Spanish and English
- Proficiency with MS Office and strong data entry skill set
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of collections and/or customer service work experience
